Community Involvement
Local Care, Statewide Impact:
Serving Michigan’s Rural and Underserved Communities
Since our founding in 1989, Specialty Infusion Center has been more than a care site. We are neighbors, supporters, and advocates for the people we serve. We believe healthcare extends beyond the infusion suite. By investing our time and resources locally, we help strengthen the community patients return to after treatment.

Here are just a few ways we invest in our communities across Michigan
- Local partnerships with schools, nonprofits, and community groups
- Health education for patients, families, and caregivers
- Sponsorships and events that promote wellness and connection
- Volunteer service from our nurses, pharmacists, and staff
Caring Through the Storm
When an ice storm cut power and closed roads across northern Michigan, our team checked on patients, coordinated safely with families and providers, and kept vital therapies on track. One patient, a utility worker restoring power to his neighbors, was able to continue treatment and return to the field. Moments like these remind us that care is personal, and community is the point.
